How anti-Russian figure is appointed governor of Armenia’s region: Edmon Marukyan

Head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan referred to the information that governor of Aragatsotn Davit Gevorgyan in time burnt Russia’s flag.
“Days ago information has been spread that in time Aragatsotn governor participated in an anti-Russian action were an attempt was made to burn Russia’s flag, but the police officers did not allow to do it. I think there might be citizens who have a position against a country and reflect it by burning or mashing this country’s flag, but I cannot understand how this person may get high post in Armenia, and post of a governor in particular in case when we are seeking to have “brilliant” relations with Russia,” he stressed, adding that it appears that on one hand we are waiting for the supply of Russian Su-30SM and state that we are strategic partners, on the other we give post to anti-Russian figure.
“It is very interesting to know did the government know about political approaches of the governor and how does it imagine to combine “brilliant” relations with Russia with having such governor,” he said, adding that it is not a rhetoric question but expects answer from head of My Step faction Lilit Makunts.
