YEREVAN, ARMENPRESS. New Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin on September 13 presented the copy of her credentials to Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the Armenian foreign ministry told Armenpress.
Minister Mnatsakanyan congratulated the EU Ambassador on assuming that important and responsible mission and expressed confidence that the Ambassador will contribute to the further deepening and development of the Armenia-EU partnership with her diplomatic service.
The foreign minister introduced the Ambassador on the ambitious agenda of reforms adopted by the Armenian government, highlighting the importance of the EU’s support in this process.
The meeting participants discussed wide range of issues relating to the Armenia-EU partnership agenda. In particular, they touched upon the upcoming high-level mutual visits, the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and the roadmap for its implementation.
The FM and the Ambassador also exchanged views on the joint development of agenda of Eastern Partnership. The FM touched upon the preparation works of the Yerevan conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Eastern Partnership which will take place on October 9.
