This short letter about the editor will not do him justice; so, my apologies in advance. Nevertheless, I would like to say a few words. Mr. Appo K. Jabarian, the Executive Publisher and the Managing Editor of the USA Armenian Life Magazine, is a resolute and unswerving person. His editorials expose him as being an intense person, having definite opinions and strong feelings about persons, places, and events. His intense concentration is always manifested through unique expressions, such as “Turkish-occupied Western Armenia,” which are done with great energy, enthusiasm, or foresight.
For example, to expose corruption, controversy in our homeland, nothing would make him shy away from the truth by resorting to politically correct postures on a critical matter pertaining to our nation. His editorials inform, inspire, and involve the reader to be ready to sympathize with the plight of the Armenians and, if possible, to contribute toward alleviating their burden.
For instance, several of his provocative recent editorials about Azerbaijan being imploded by its minorities, made me research and write a number of articles on this important opportunity to encourage these ill-treated people to stand up for their human rights in their own ancestral lands usurped by the Turks. We need to stab the cruel Azerbaijani government with “borrowed knives” (such as by Lezgins, the Talysh, the Avars in Azerbaijan).
To a multi-talented, renaissance man, I wish Mr. Jabarian continued success in writing, publishing, investigative journalism, acting, TV anchoring, and spearheading the campaign to get Armenia and Artsakh ahead with an eye on their future. His publication deserves to be selected as the best, not only in Glendale, but in the entire Western United States.
Let us all join together and send a letter to the Mayor of Glendale asking him to give credit to Mr. Appo Jabarian when credit is due! And it is only fair to celebrate him and shower upon him all the accolades we could think of to express our appreciation of his dedication to the Armenian people’s wellbeing.
Sincerely,
Z. S. Andrew DemirdjianP.S. If you are infested to sign a letter to the Mayor of Glendale or to another office, write to me via the USA Armenian Life Magazine).
