The American Armenian National Security Institute (AANSI) has organized an inaugural banquet for support of Armenia and Artsakh Republics’ sovereignty, independence and defense.
The Nov. 11 event, which will take place on Thursday Nov. 11 in Los Angeles, has attracted the support of not only Southern Californians but other supporters coming from Washington DC, New York, British Columbia, Canada and other distant cities.
A meet-and-greet cocktail hour will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Dinner will be served from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A cultural program will follow featuring the presentation of the World Premiere of AANSI Documentary and renowned keynote speakers.
Keynote Speakers will include Republic of Artsakh Presidential Chief Advisor and Ambassador with Special Assignments Honorable Rudik Hyusnunts and U.S. Army Major General (Ret.) Mark MacCarley, Chairman, American Armenian National Security Institute (AANSI).
In August, an AANSI team of experts and journalists completed its first Educational Mission to Armenia and Artsakh. The purpose of this trip was to report on conditions in Armenia and Artsakh, with a special emphasis placed on military preparedness, and implications for US interests, as Armenia and Artsakh again face existential threats from their neighboring countries, Turkey and Azerbaijan. (See article “First AANSI Educational Mission to Armenia and Artsakh” on p4-5 or at http://aansi.org/news/sample/ )
AANSI is a non-partisan institution that brings together, under a unified tent, americans and American Armenians from all political backgrounds and affiliations for the ultimate purpose of pursuing AANSI’s mission: Educating Congressional, military and civilian national security decision-makers on American defense and strategic interests, one cornerstone of which is robust U.S.-Armenia security, economic and political cooperation. AANSI believes that a strong American military and national security posture is the best guarantor of peace and the survival of our values and civilization.
Leading members of the community are working hard to make the AANSI Nov. 11 banquet a success to provide timely assistance to the twin republics of Artsakh and Armenia, and to empower AANSI to pursue its mission.
The proceeds from the November 11 event will benefit:
1) Military Hospital in Stepanakert, Artsakh Republic;
2) AANSI Educational Efforts in Support of Armenia and Artsakh Sovereignty;
3) American Armenian Humanitarian Brigades for Armenia and Artsakh.
Together, through education and knowledge, we look forward to fostering a formidable partnership between the American Armenian community and the U.S. Defense and Foreign Policy establishments for the greater good of both America and Armenia.
