World No. 17 Karen Khachanov (Russia) could not reach the semifinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters.
In the quarterfinals of this tournament, the Muscovite Armenian tennis star faced world No. 12 of Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), who won in two sets: 6:4, 6:2. The match lasted 1 hour and 22 minutes.
Tsitsipas’ opponent in the semifinals will be the winner of the quarterfinal clash between world No. 2 Jannik Sinner (Italy) and world No. 7 Holger Rune (Denmark).
The prize fund of the Monte-Carlo Masters is 5.9 million euros.
