Gabriel Sargsyan won the European Rapid Chess Championship in Tallinn

Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargsyan won the European Rapid Chess Championship held in Tallinn, Estonia. The Individual Rapid Chess Championship was played in the Swiss system, 13 rounds, with the time control 15 minutes + 10 seconds per move increment starting from the first move. Sargsyan scored 10,5 points and won the champion’s title.

Another representative of Armenia Zaven Andriasyan took the 13th position.

The European Individual Blitz Chess Championship will commence on December 8 .
