31/12/2023, YEREVAN, ARMENIA — News are circulating on the Internet that Karekin II’s message will not be broadcast this year. Roman Baghdasarian, a well-known commentator, investigative reporter and blogger, commented on the circulating news on his Facebook page. Referring to the information of his reliable sources, he wrote that Karekin II refused to broadcast his New Year’s video message on a number of private and Public TV channels. “Karekin II gave an ultimatum to TV channels that his speech must be broadcast at 12 o’clock, otherwise it should not be broadcast. Naturally, this ultimatum has antagonized many people. Therefore, many TV channel directors had no choice but not to broadcast the video message of Karekin II,” Baghdasarian wrote.
