Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the presentation of Juventus Armenia football academies. The legend of this Italian football club, World Cup and European champion, current FIFA ambassador David Trezeguet, and Juve academy development manager Davide Fornaca have arrived in Armenia to participate in the event.
During the presentation, the projects of the future academies, infrastructure that meets high international standards, and a new stadium that meets the second category of UEFA were presented. By the Armenian government decision of August 29, 2024, the investment program of Next Gen Sports company was approved.
Accordingly, a land plot of about two hectares in Armenian capital Yerevan’s Avan district was given to Next Gen Sports company with the right of gratuitous use for one year and on the condition of investing 1 billion drams (approx. US$2,612,600). Also, about two hectares of land adjacent to the Hrazdan Stadium was alienated to the aforesaid company at market price—and on the condition of 10-year installment payments and investing 1.2 billion drams (approx. US$3,135,125) over five years.
