Armenian canonist Marianna Gevorgyan has been honored with the Global Icon Award 2025, held in Athens, Greece, from July 1-3. She was the sole representative of Armenia at this prestigious event and won in the Music category.
Marianna Gevorgyan graduated with honors from the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. She is a gold medalist of national and international competitions and festivals. She performs with the Tagharan Ancient Music Ensemble, based at the Komitas Chamber Music House, and collaborates with renowned international musicians.
