Armenia’s international Zvartnots Airport handled 2.4 million passengers in the first half of 2025; on Monday, the airport’s press service reported to the ARKA news agency that 1.2 million people arrived in Armenia during the specified period, and an equal number departed; “From January to June of 2024, the passenger flow amounted to 2.31 million: 1.6 million arrived and 1.1 million departed,” the report states; Zvartnots Airport is operated by Armenia-International Airports CJSC under a 30-year concession management agreement with the Armenian government; the company also manages Gyumri Airport Shirak; the owner of Armenia-International Airports CJSC is Eduardo Eurnekian, an Argentine citizen of Armenian descent.
