Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on October 13, 2025, to attend the Middle East Peace Summit. He attended the summit at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. At the summit, a ceasefire agreement for Gaza was signed by leaders from Egypt, the U.S., Turkey, and Qatar. During the conference, Pashinyan held a series of brief meetings including with President Trump; Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. He also had a conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Each of the two leaders spotlighted his commitment to global and regional peace and diplomacy.
