WASHNGTON, DC — Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Na- rek Mkrtchyan, held a meeting with Donald Trump at the White House. The meeting took place during a re- ception organized for newly appointed ambassadors. During the conversation, Ambassador Mkrtchyan expressed his gratitude to President Trump for his consistent efforts toward estab- lishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as for the historic agreement reached and the documents signed at the White House on August 8. In response, President Trump con- gratulated the Armenian people, em- phasizing that they deserve lasting and stable peace, and reaffirmed his uncon- ditional support for the peace process. President Trump also specifically highlighted the leadership of Nikol Pashinyan, underscoring the Prime Minister’s significant role in advanc- ing the established peace process. Additionally, President Trump conveyed a personally inscribed gift to Prime Minister Pashinyan as a mark of high appreciation.
