A meeting of the Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The meeting was attended by President Vahagn Khachaturyan, National As- sembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, Head of the National Assembly “Civil Contract” faction Hayk Konjoryan, and Chair of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Sargis Khan- danyan. Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Kristine Grigoryan delivered a com- prehensive report on developments surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran and in the Middle East. Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan presented a report on the activities of the interagency working group established by the Prime Minister’s instruction. Following the meeting, the Prime Minister issued relevant instructions. The participants expressed deep regret over the tragic developments, extend- ed condolences over the victims, and emphasized the need for the prompt estab- lishment of peace.
