On December 17, 2025, the Inaugu- ral meeting of Armenia-U.S. Bilateral Working Group in Support of the Out- comes of the August 8, 2025 Peace summit was held. Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minis- ter of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and Sonata Coulter, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of States, presented opening remarks and commended the actively developing Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership. Deputy Minister Kostanyan high- lighted the invaluable support of the U.S. to the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus and reiterated the interest of the Armenian side to ac- tively work towards the implementa- tion of the Armenia-U.S. Memoranda of Understanding, signed on August 8, namely the Crossroads of Peace Ca- pacity Building Partnership, AI and Semiconductor Innovation Partner- ship, Energy Security Partnership. Both sides highlighted the substan- tial steps towards the implementation of the Memoranda of Understanding and shared their respective progress reports in that direction. An agreement was reached to follow up on the con- crete outcomes reached at the expert- level in a timely manner.
