YEREVAN /ARKA/. Foreign Minister Ararat Mir- zoyan thinks it is possible to peacefully balance the interests of all parties in the context of the imple- mentation of infrastructure and other projects in Ar- menia. “We will do everything to ensure that all infra- structure and other programs that can and will be implemented in Armenia are beneficial and primar- ily based on the interests of the Republic of Arme- nia, as well as beneficial for our neighbors and other interested partners, be they the US, the EU, Russia, or Middle Eastern countries,” he said on Armenian Public Television. According to Mirzoyan, the unblocking of infra- structure raised certain questions in Iran, but these questions have been answered, and now Yerevan and Tehran see more opportunities in unblock- ing infrastructure than open questions or unspoken problems. “The infrastructure that will be built or reconstructed, launched or restarted, will create op- portunities for Iran, so why would it be against these programs?” he said. Speaking of Russia, the Foreign Minister said it is in- volved in infrastructure projects in Armenia and will be most likely to be involved in these projects. “And we have heard official comments from Russia on this matter, stating that they are also ready to participate,” Mirzoyan said.
