In the wake of the Fall 2020 disastrous 44-Day Anti-Armenian terrorist ag- gression by Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Pakistan and ISIS against Armenians of Artsakh and Armenia, American Armenians and Americans with affinity towards Armenia mobilized in an unprecedented way in order to empower Armenia diversify its foreign economic, political and military alliances. Their efforts especially centered around encouraging Washington and Yerevan to forge a strategic alliance. Now they welcome blossoming strategic cooperation between the United States and Armenia. In August 2025 President Donald J. Trump and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed various Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) on economic and technological partnerships, like AI, semiconductors, and en- ergy, establishing the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) project. In light of U.S.-Armenia strengthening of their strategic relations, Pres. Trump hosted PM Pashinyan and Azerbaijani Pres. Ilham Aliyev at the White House, where Pashinyan and Aliyev signed a historic Joint Declaration for Peace in the South Caucasus, brokered by Trump, aiming to end decades of conflict and establish formal relations, including a new transit corridor. Secretary of State Marco Rubio laid out a framework for the project as he met in Washington with the top diplomat of Armenia – Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, whose government agreed to the plan. According to official sources in Washington and Yerevan, Armenia will give the United States a nearly three-quarters stake in a corridor of its land connecting parts of rival Azerbaijan, Washington announced Tuesday, as it said it expected to benefit financially from the arrangement but promised to respect sovereignty. Speaking with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Rubio said: “The TRIPP arrangement really is going to turn out to be a model for the world of how you can open yourself up to economic activity and prosperity without in any way questioning or undermining your sovereignty and your territorial integrity.” “It’s going to be great for Armenia, great for the United States, great for everyone involved,” Rubio said. While the United States endeavors to develop trade and cooperation be- tween Azerbaijan and Armenia fostering lasting peace and prosperity for the region, Russia has been intransigent insisting on remaining the main power broker. However, the people of the South Caucasus are mindful of Russian imperial ambitions and dictates promoting war and animosity between the various nations of the region. Basically, it’s ‘divide and conquer’ outdated policy. Especially promising is the establishment of new U.S.-Armenia partner- ship under the name “TRIPP Development Company.” Any right-minded supporter of Armenia’s sovereignty, Independence, Defence, Economy and Democracy should contribute to the successful execution of the ARMENIAN CROSSROAD FOR PEACE now widely known as TRIPP – Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity. It’s great that the two governments have come together to develop rail and road routes through the ARMENIAN CROSSROAD FOR PEACE/TRIPP. The company’s objectives giving economic benefits to the US and Ar- menian governments, US and Armenian companies can serve as template to foster lasting peace in other conflict-ridden parts of the world. Opening new markets for US/EU investment and speeding up trade to bring raw materials, critical minerals and rare earth metals to European and American markets can further enhance Armenia’s position in Washington D.C. and elsewhere.
