Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan hosted a delegation led by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvriv- ishvili, in Yerevan on Friday. Welcoming Minister Kvrivishvili’s visit, Khachatryan highlighted that strengthening cooperation between Armenia and Georgia remains a shared prior- ity, reflected in the current positive dynamics of bilateral relations. The two sides emphasized the need to further reinforce economic cooperation alongside active political dialogue. They exchanged views on a wide range of sectors, including bilateral trade, tourism, energy, transport and telecommunica- tions, as well as other key areas of mutual interest. In this context, both parties stressed the importance of expanding and deep- ening existing cooperation to unlock untapped potential in bilateral relations and make more effective use of emerging opportunities. Khachatryan and Kvrivishvili also discussed regional connectivity initiatives, with particular reference to Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” project and the prospects it offers for advancing cooperation between the two countries.
