YEREVAN – Armenian companies have exported Armenian-made weap-ons for the first time, Minister of High- Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan announced. According to the minister, this achievement is one of the reasons the government has invested billions of drams in the defense industry in recent years. “With great joy and pride, I want to inform you that three Armenian com-panies exported weapons to two different countries dur-ing the month of May. After passing through rather com-plex and difficult logistical routes, Armenian compa-nies were able to reach their intended destinations,” Hayrapetyan said Days earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared footage on social media from rehearsals for the May 28 military parade, showing Armenian-made DEV-3 reconnaissance-strike drones.
