Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pash- inyan has welcomed the agreement reached between the United States and Iran, expressing hope that it will con- tribute to lasting peace and stability in the Middle East. In a post on X, Pashinyan praised the diplomatic efforts that helped se- cure the breakthrough, particularly the mediation undertaken by Pakistan, Qatar, Türkiye, and other partners. He said Armenia hopes the development will pave the way for a comprehensive and durable peace across the region. The Armenian prime minister’s re- marks came after U.S. President Don- ald Trump announced that Washington and Tehran had finalized a framework agreement aimed at ending months of conflict. The deal was facilitated through mediation efforts led by Paki- stan and supported by Qatar, Türkiye and other regional actors. According to reports, the agree- ment includes an immediate cessation of hostilities and is expected to be for- mally signed in Switzerland later this week.
