YEREVAN /ARKA/. On Friday, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoy- an discussed the implementation of Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) with Fabrizio Zarcone, World Bank Country Manag- er for Armenia, the Ministry of Econo- my press service reported. The parties emphasized the im- portance of the initiative for tourism development and the modernization of regional infrastructure, agreeing to continue close cooperation to ensure the effective and timely implementa- tion of the planned activities. The TRIPP program envisages in- vestments of €120 million for the de- velopment of tourism clusters in Go- ris, Areni, Jermuk, Yeghegis, Dvin, Gyumri, and Dilijan. The program’s goal is to stimulate the development of wine, resort, adventure, cultural, edu- cational, and ecotourism, increasing Armenia’s tourism attractiveness and the competitiveness of its regions.
