YEREVAN /ARКА/. Lilit Makunts, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, met with Cosmin Dinescu, Head of the European Union Partner- ship Mission to Armenia, the govern- ment press service reported. Makunts welcomed the launch of the mission and emphasized the impor- tance of EU support in strengthening the resilience of Armenia’s state insti- tutions. During the meeting, they discussed priority areas of cooperation within the mission’s mandate. The Prime Minis- ter’s Chief of Staff emphasized the im- portance of coordinated engagement of relevant government agencies and capacity development in the areas out- lined in the mandate. The parties also exchanged views on the future organization of coopera- tion and ensuring its effective coordi- nation. The EU Partnership Mission to Armenia was established on April 21, 2026, at the request of the Armenian authorities and began its work on July 13. Its two-year mandate includes pro- viding advisory and expert support to Armenian government agencies in countering cyber threats, foreign infor- mation interference, and illicit finan- cial flows.
