Armenia names weightlifting squad for European Championship

The European Weightlifting Championship will take place in Moscow on April 2-12.
The European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) has published the lists of participants.
Armenia has named its squad as well, managed by Pashik Alaverdyan. The country will be represented by 9-strong men’s team and 4-strong women’s team.
The men’s team includes Andranik Karapetyan (81kg), Hakob Mkrtchyan and Karen Avagyan (89 kg), Davit Hovhannisyan (96 kg), Samvel Gasparyan and Arsen Martirosyan (102 kg), Simon Martirosyan (109 kg), Gor Minasyan and Varazdat Lalayan (+109 kg).
The women’s team includes Izabella Yaylyan (59 kg), Milena Khachatryan (71 kg), Liana Gyurjyan (81kg), and Tatev Hakobyan (87 kg).
