AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian High School which had decided long before the Covid-19 outbreak to shut down the school and get out of the education business- felt the necessity to take money from the federal government $350,000-$1,000,000 in a PPP bailout. Proceeds from a PPP loan may be used for limited purposes. Perhaps authorities should double check to see if that “loan” was really used to pay salaries… and other authorized uses. However, that would require TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY.

Shame on AGBU Manoukian High School.
1) They knew they were shutting down the school.
2) they didn’t reduce tuition for students
Yet in the remaining 3 months of the high schools existence they found it necessary to take money from the government. They weren’t an organization trying to stay afloat… they already had decided to sink their own ship long ago.
