In 2016, Mr. Trump ran on a campaign platform to make American Great Again in many ways and to pull United States out of foreign wars; eliminate Islamic State and other Islamist extremist terrorists. He has registered tangible results although more efforts need to be made to render the Islamist extremism near-completely eliminated. It is under the Trump administration that U.S. foreign and defense policy establishments have become increasingly aware that Turkey and Azerbaijan have been covertly sponsoring and supporting ISIS terrorists.

In 2016, I was proud to endorse Pres. Trump. In 2020, I am equally proud to endorse him again.

We need to give President Trump another 4-year mandate to complete his mission and to consolidate his ‘America First’ doctrine while bringing peace to this troubled world.

To his credit, despite numerous challenges Pres. Trump succeeded in keeping the majority of his promises.

To the detriment of world peace, relations between the United States and Russia remained somewhat cold not because of Pres. Trump. But because of warmongering and Russophobia by such neocons as Rep. Adam Schiff.

SCHIFF’S RUSSIA-MONGERING INDIRECTLY ENCOURAGES TURKEY’S AND AZERBAIJAN’S AGGRESSION AGAINST THE ARTSAKH REPUBLIC AND ARMENIA:

Ironically, Schiff’s Russia-mongering has emboldened Turkey and Azerbaijan to launch genocidal aggression against the Artsakh Republic and Armenia. Both Ankara and Baku have exploited congressman Schiff’s Russophobia by covertly claiming that by initiating an aggression against Armenia and Artsakh, Turkey’s main goal is to invade Russia and go on to establish a Pan-Turkist neo-Ottoman mega empire. A new genocidal empire on the ashes of Armenia, Artsakh Republic and many other peace-loving nations.

Now more than ever before, the international community needs global peace and most definitely not more conflicts. True to his campaign promises, Pres. Trump has been working very diligently to reduce conflicts around the world including in Armenia-Turkey-Azerbaijan-Artsakh Republic zone, Afghanistan, Middle East, North Korea, Libya, Greece-Turkey-Cyprus-Eastern Mediterranean.

Many Americans firmly believe that Pres. Trump is the right person in the right place at this historic juncture. The globe has been functioning on a ‘kill’ economy or wartime economics when in fact – now more than ever before, the global village of nations needs peacetime economics. Because of his track record as a successful business entrepreneur, Pres. Trump can be instrumental in ushering lasting global peace that is based on peacetime economics.

In the wake of Turkey’s, Azerbaijan’s and ISIS terrorists’ aggression against Artsakh Republic and Armenia, the Trump administration has categorically refused to lend any kind of support to Turkey — a commendable and principled stand against Turkey’s genocidal ambitions.

During a private meeting last Sunday in Orange County, California with Pres. Trum, Eric Early who’s running against Adam Schiff in the CA-28th district raised Turkey’s aggression against Armenia. Mr. Early has also been sounding the alarm in DC about the situation in Armenia.

Before USA Armenian Life Magazine went to print, Eric Early said: “I was very encouraged to see that right after our meeting the President addressed the situation happening in Armenia. What we’re seeing in Armenia right now, is another ripple effect of Obama-Biden era failed policies.  In this instance, we have Syrian mercenaries that the Obama administration funded and outfitted, killing Armenians. These are policies that Adam Schiff voted for and was proud of.  Schiff owes an apology to every Armenian, not just in Glendale in my district, but the world over for financing these mercenaries. This is just another disastrous ripple effect from when Obama-Biden and Schiff were in charge.”

Trump’s Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has criticized Turkey for fanning the flames of fire in the current war between Artsakh Republic and Azerbaijan.

Hurling insults at the U.S. Presidency, Turkey has been trying to mischaracterize Trump as a mere businessman insinuating through its agents in Washington that President Trump is more interested in his personal fortune that U.S. standing on the world stage because “his organization has several hotel and resort properties in Azerbaijan and Turkey.”

Many observers insist that Turkey’s erratic behavior is categorically unacceptable.

Many Trump allies insist that Pres. Trump adamantly upholds the US presidency  on all counts. Pres. Trump is independently wealthy and he is not dependent on any entity. He is a good man.

On Friday Oct. 23, while U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo was hosting in Washington DC the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Pres. Trump was holding a press conference.

In answer to a reporter’s question on the ongoing Azerbaijani Turkish aggression against Armenia and Artsakh Republic, President Donald J. Trump stated clearly from the oval office at the White House saying “Yes we’re talking about it. We’re working on it with Armenia and we have a very good relationship with Armenians. They are so dedicated. They’re incredible people living in Armenia … we’ll see what happens. (regarding a question about a ceasefire with Azerbaijan) … I think a very good progress is being made with respect to that. Armenia is … we have a lot of people living in this country, who have come from Armenia, originally from Armenia… They’re great people, and we’re going to help them.”

Interestingly, on the same day as Pres. Trump was speaking highly of Armenians, the US Army was carrying out a drone strike against Al-Qaeda leaders and other jihadist groups in north-western Syria near the Turkish border.

This is a clear signal that the U.S. is heeding the appeal of several European NATO countries urging the United States to discontinue American support of Turkey.

Additionally, to President Trump’s credit, it is under the current administration that Turkey has been kicked out of the U.S. F-35 fighter jet program in early 2020 and will be completely ejected by the end of the year. According to defense sources, the four F-35s owned by Turkey that are in the US “will not be delivered to Turkish soil.”

Turkey is increasingly being identified as an unreliable partner, exploiting both Russia and the United States. The F-35 partners agreed to eject Turkey from the F-35 program over that country’s decision to buy and field the Russian S-400 Triumf air defense system.

Many believe that utterly frustrated lunatic neo-Ottoman Sultan Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, covertly unleashed his Turkish Grey Wolves extremist Turkish terrorist organization to bully Pres. Trump and Americans in general into submission to his whims. On Friday Oct. 23, the US Embassy in Turkey issued a security warning/alert to all US citizens urging them not to travel to Turkey.

In another development, both Saudi Arabia and Morocco announced an unprecedented boycott of Turkey by implementing a massive embargo against Turkish exports from entering the kingdom and Morocco. Following the call, “Boycott Turkish products” began trending far and wide.

U.S. foreign and defense policy establishments need to focus on further developing a foreign policy of containment of neo-Ottoman Turkey. Pres. Trump has all the prerequisites to help achieve just that! Therefore, four more years of mandate to Pres. Trump can facilitate just that.

THANK YOU ERIC EARLY

In a conversation with USA Armenian Life Magazine, Eric Early whose running against Adam Schiff in the CA-28th district said on Monday Oct. 19: “I met with the President yesterday. I have also been sounding the alarm in DC about the situation in Armenia, not just because my district has a high population of Armenians, but because it is the right thing to do. I was very encouraged to see that right after our meeting the President addressed the situation happening in Armenia.”

  1. I believed that journalist had a special obligation to be informed regarding subject matters that they claim to cover, let alone allow themselves to endorse candidates up for election or re-election. Your endorsement of Donald J. Trump for re-election demonstrated how mistaken my belief was. Only an ill-informed and ignorant person could do such a thing. This is another proof why the Armenian Nation as a whole is so backwards and out of touch with the modern world. Our so-called “leaders” get fooled by a stupid slogan such as “MAGA” without understanding the implications of it. For your own sake, pick up a political publication and educate yourself. While doing it, you might want to get out of your bubble and leave the “know-it-all” attitude at the door.

  2. Dear friends and APPO finally a political strategy of the slide in the service of national interests. As Churchill said, “we have no enemies, no friends, but interests” We will overcome with suffering for our Meres, the Women, the Fiancees for the future of the Nation … conquering PEACE.

  3. Dear Appo, thank you for endorsing President Trump. Your analysis is right on and I 100% agree with your assessment of him and his accomplishments. And with all do respect, I totally disagree with Harout Sassonian’s position calling Trumps presidency a nightmare. I am glad USA Armenian Life has diverse writers, but your endorsement is very timely and it carries an important message. I hope Trump will be reelected and I hope California can unseat Adam Schiff and elect Eric Early, a true friend and supporter of the Armenians.
