Armenian Republican Association-USA Armenian Life Magazine Message to American Armenians in Battleground States Regarding Trump Administration Support for Artsakh

On eve of the 2020 Presidential election, the Armenian Republican Association and USA Armenian Life Magazine release the following statement:

The Armenian Community wants to express its appreciation to the Administration of President Donald Trump for its strong support of the rights of the people of Artsakh to live in freedom and dignity.

As the world’s first Christian nation, Armenia has had to fight for its survival since the beginning, facing waves of persecution. And about 100 years after Turkey committed genocide against the Armenian people, the Turkish-backed government of Azerbaijan is threatening to annihilate the Armenians of Artsakh.

The Republic of Artsakh has been self-governing, protected by Armenian forces since a ceasefire more than 25 years ago following a war after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. These Armenian troops have been the last line of defense for the people of Artsakh, who face an existential threat from Turkey and Azerbaijan.

The Trump Administration has stepped up for Armenians, with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo personally negotiating the latest ceasefire—which Azerbaijan immediately violated.

This year, Armenians in battleground states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, Nevada and Texas can step up and help secure a second term for President Trump.

This momentum would not have been possible without the spearheading efforts of USA Armenian Life Magazine which endorses President Trump in 2020, just as it endorsed him in 2016.

USA Armenian Life focused on battleground states in 2016 with a massive media blitz. This included a mass mailing campaign and email blasts as well as USA Armenian Life Magazine social media channels. Spreading this endorsement made a big difference in the state of Michigan and many other battleground states.

As we are speaking, USA Armenian Life is once again continuing to reach out to battleground state American Armenian communities in a similar fashion and in a real way.
