During a recent conversation with USA Armenian Life, an Armenian military personality stated that “The reason why we are constantly making mistakes is that our people has not properly evaluated the performance of First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920), the Second Republic of Soviet Socialist Republic (1920-1991) and now, the Third Republic (1991-present).
We have a lot to learn from our common history.
The sooner we learn from our mistakes the better we can lay the foundations of the Fourth Republic.
Considering what happened to “Soros” Georgia in 2008, when Saakashvili threatened Russia and paid dearly for it by losing of Abkhazia and Ossetia; and considering what happened to “Soros” Armenia in 2020, as the Pashinyan administration tilted toward the West losing an important part of Artsakh, it can be safely said that this Soros “velvet” became too expensive for the Armenian people.
In 2008, for “Soros” Georgia, the wake up call came from the US Secretary of State Condoliza Rice when she informed Pres. Saakashvili that Georgia shall not have any expectations that the West will come to Georgia’s aid against Russia.
In 2020, “Soros” Armenia’s wakeup call came from Appo K. Jabarian, Editor-in-Chief of USA Armenian Life Magazine of the United States that “Pashinyan shall not have high hopes for any help coming from the United States and the West.”
In a losing streak, “cutting one’s losses” is an act of wisdom.
In mid-October, when it became clear that after a long line of “victories,” the Armenians had already lost the south of Artsakh, the region bordering north-eastern Iran, on October 21-22, PM Pashinyan made a plea for help from the United States.
Being well aware of the anti-Armenian sentiments and at the same time friendly stance in the West toward NATO-member Turkey, Jabarian sounded the alarm and sent an October 23 written and an October 27 televised message to Prime Minister Pashinyan proposing to “OFFICIALLY activate Republic of Armenia’s request from The Russian Federation to fulfill its obligation under a mutual defense agreement and protect Armenia against Turkish onslaught.”
Fortunately for the Armenians of Armenia and the world, Prime Minister Pashinyan fulfilled his duty and at least saved the rest of Artsakh from an imminent total loss and the destruction of the lives of 30 to 50 thousand Armenian soldiers.
While NATO-backed Turkey, NATO-sponsored Azerbaijan and ISIS terrorists were preparing to completely overrun Artsakh, Pashinyan’s Oct. 31 letter paved the way for Russia to engineer a ceasefire statement on November 9 in Sochi.
As disheartening as this statement may seem, the new historical period can be seen as an opportunity for a reset and a national overhaul for the Armenian nation, when Armenia can change its destiny with a roadmap by pursuing a patriotic “orientation;” by mitigating both the destructive influence of former kleptocratic regimes and anti-Russia Sorosites; by focusing on finding solutions to Armenian state issues on regional level.
Neither the pro-Western “Sorosites” nor the former kleptocratic regimes +1 (Karekin II) — Levon Ter-Petrosian, Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan + Catholicos Karekin II and his bandits have a place in the metamorphosing Fourth Republic of Armenia.
Geopolitically, contemporary Armenia, which should be called Eastern Armenia, is built in a region that is within the sphere of Russian influence. It can be unwise to ignore the Russian and Iranian factors. One cannot maintain a neighborly relations with a military ally such as Russia and a strategic neighbor like Iran, by ignoring their interests simply to please the West — a suicidal and costly geopolitical mistake.
One shouldn’t be surprised to see that Russia may be offended by the anti-Russian behavior of Pashinyan and his Sorosite allies.
It is also clear that the sooner Armenia gets rid of the Soros “zombies”, the better for all Armenians.
But can Armenians fully trust Russia?
The West is still obstinate in pursuing a destructive NATO enlargement of Russia and Iran as well as a world-dominance policy. Does Armenia have any benefits from a direct or indirect participation in this destructive policy? As life has shown, no good can come out of it.
Do the American people really want to blockade Russia?
Are the American people ready to risk the lives of soldiers for senseless new wars? Do the Americans and the Russians realize that an American-Russian war is tantamount to fratricide?
Why can Americans and Russians cooperate in space, but fail to do so in the Caucasus, to bury once and for all the catastrophic pan-Turanism that threatens humanity?
The days of lunatic neo-Ottoman Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan and dreams are numbered. Let Erdogan heed the advice of his prescient former Turkish general who fled Turkey with his entire family.
The deeper the Turkish lira tumbles, the more aggressively Turkey resorts to abusing its NATO membership. Now that Erdogan has been caught red-handed hiring ISIS terrorist mercenaries from Syria and Libya, the United States and Europe have a great moral obligation to expel Turkey from NATO; to isolate it internationally, and even to dismember it, in accordance with the 1921 Treaty of Sevres and the binding arbitration by President Wilson, which is in force.
Is there a pathway for return to power for Armenia’s former rulers? Old kleptocratic regimes are nurturing an empty dream that Russia may help them return to power. Russia is keenly aware that the world Armenians in Armenia as well as the American Armenian Diaspora, and the wider Diaspora, have unfavorable public opinion of the former kleptocratic regimes of Ter-Petrosyan, Kocharyan, Sargsyan, Vanetsyan, Tsarukyan, ARF-Armenia, Ara Abrahamyan and Karekin II or their lackeys. Russia may not be really amenable to link its credibility to widely discredited oligarchs that have been plundering Armenia and Armenians. Has Russia been in approval of these elements’ outright sabotage of Armenia’s economic, social, political and military development?
Whatever the answer, an increasing number of Armenians worldwide strongly feel that neither the former kleptocratic regimes nor the “Sorosites” have any significant role in the new Fourth Republic of Armenia.

I do not and will never accept any attempt to put 1st President Levon Ter Petrossian on the same level with Robert-Serje-Pashinian trio. This looks like vendetta against LTP because the latter had the guts to expel the ARF leaders from the Armenian political arena. And he did the right thing.
I must respectfully disagree.
Azerbaijan has been infinitely more
offensive to Russia than Armenia has ever been.
A few examples:
Azerbaijan’s pipelines to the West all bypassed Russia. Russia hated that. Azerbaijan supplies nearly all Georgia’s natural gas so that now Russia sells pratically no gas to Georgia. Russia has thus lost a lot of leverage.
Azerbaijan kicked out the Russia radar base at Gabala. Was that a friendly act by Azerbaijan? Hardly.
Armenian is a member of the EEU and CTSO, but Azerbaijan has refused to join either.
All these actions by Azerbaijan are anti-Russian.
Plus, Azerbaijan has brought in much more Western investment than has Armenia. Even Trump had a hotel in Baku though it did not work out in the end.
If Putin cannot see all those obvious anti-Russian actions by Azerbaijan but instead gets angry over what are some very petty, meaningless issues he has had with Pashinyan, that is all Putin’s fault.
