There is no exercise better for the heart than helping people and lifting them up, be near them, and give them mercy.
I followed attentively all speakers and was touched by their willing to help the vulnerable families who went through a tough time during the pandamic.
I am in solidarity in supporting immigrant essential workers, immigrant health care workers, immigrants who works as drivers, or delivers of food, or restaurants workers.
Actually, they are on the frontlines of this pandamic. They put themselves at risk so we can stay at home safe.
Immigrant latinos workers are impacted by pandamic. The immigrant women of color like caregivers and sanitation are impacted by Covid 19. Latinos Domestic workers were impacted as well.
We know They didn’t receive the Heros Cares Act. We know about the economic pain caused by pandamic. So we should help them. We should put plans to protect them. We should address this issue immediately?
We will be looking forward to attend this summit that handles immigrants workers protection, their citizenship, give awareness about their situation: (they work in places together where they don’t have the safety protection). They are the most vulnerable workers, so we should support them.
On the second hand, I agree with the idea that workers who are not working in safe place can report any violations to the Program Attorney Of the Employee Rights Legal Services so this office can investigate their problems and get remedy for them.
This office doesn’t investigate only that complaint but the whole business and the violation ( Restaurants industry, wages, violation at work.
I was very much impressed by LA County Gain Program, The largest public services agency. (Monica Nguyen: Gain program director for the LA County Department of public social services.)

- Provides families programs + kids programs +job assistance + educational training + subsidies employment + domestic help+ mental health services+ online training + online courses to get high school diploma + advance skills + enhance some skills+ transportation + workers rights: legal advice : help workers in the challenges that comes up and support them.
About 3 and a half million in LA County affected by Covid 19 in 19 different languages. There is increasing unemployment in LA County.
THE GOAL is to help people to overcome any barrier they have, to find and keep employment, to eliminate barriers.
