On December 24, Rev. Sahak Galstyan made a shocking revelation on Amenor Am TV, stating that a few days ago, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and a collaborator, the chairman of the “National Security” party, former adviser to former President Sargsyan on national security issues Garnik Isagulyan openly called for the assassination of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Garnik Isagulyan stated that “Nikol’s shooter should be given the title of National Hero or a reward of a million dollar.” (WATCH: https://youtu.be/SbivPNO_wa4)
International criminal cartel boss ‘Catholicos of All Armenians’ Karekin II and his cohorts have long been implicated in the October 27, 1999 massacre at Armenian Assembly that killed Prime Minister Vasgen Sargsyan, Parliament Speaker Karen Demirdjian and other statesmen.

Along with Karekin II, former presidents Robert Kocharyan and ally Serzh Sargsyan are also implicated.
Karekin II and the old kleptocratic regime leaders and ‘associates’ must be held accountable for all their nefarious activities including murders, massive corruption, looting of state budget and institutions including Armenian Army, and rigging of past elections.
In reference to Karekin II, Mihran Keheyan of Arm News of London stated that The Talanchi (robber of Church and Nation) fraudster must be kicked out of the church. … There is no overwhelming demand whatsoever in (Armenia and) the Diaspora for the PM to resign apart from the usual actors such as the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) who have been instructed to make as much noise as possible all over the place as their rallies in Yerevan are nothing but a flop. ARF is now punch-drunk to get to power in order to be able to cover their many crimes in the coalition and also to keep their years-long ‘Talan’ (‘Loot’) along with their corrupt and criminal coalition partners. All their stolen assets must be confiscated. Their gang which includes all former presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers and yes ‘Talanchi’ (‘Looter’) Karekin II must be tried or else Armenia can never move forward and will always end up in the sewer.”
The three old kleptocratic regimes – Ter-Petrosyan, Kocharyan, Sargsyan + Karekin II along with their lackey 17 opposition parties are deeply troubled that the Armenian general public is not massively joining them in their demands for PM Pashinyan’s resignation.
The old kleptocratic regimes + Karekin II are aware that the longer they fail to grab power in Yerevan the more they get exposed to being arrested and held accountable for their numerous crimes. Armenian civil society in Armenia and Diaspora is growing firmer in their demands for the enforcement of law and order in Armenia.
Why is the gang of 17 ‘opposition’ parties failing in forcing PM Pashinyan’s resignation? Why is PM Pashinyan still in power?
A political commentator Aram Amatuny wrote in 1in.am that “Nikol Pashinyan continues to be the Prime Minister not only 2-3 days but for over two months after (the signing of the tripartite statement between Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia on) November 9. Because the old regime that existed before Pashinyan has not had the courage to bow down sincerely in front of the society after 2018, to apologize, to speak candidly to the public about the mistakes of the pre-revolutionary regimes, and their wrongdoings.”
One shouldn’t be surprised to learn that in the aftermath of the 2020 Artsakh War for Existence, there is a comfortable majority of Armenians to change the government leadership. But they’re in no rush to force his resignation.
Because they want the old regime-bankrolled 17 parties temporarily to be allowed to exclusively occupy the opposition political arena in order to expose their own lack of popularity as well as their political incompetence and bankruptcy.
In the meantime, it is imperative that the current Pashinyan government submit itself and all the three previous regimes to public scrutiny. PM Pashinyan should organize a national referendum to elect independent Armenians to a National Truth Commission to fully investigate the succeeding regimes from 1991 till this date.
There is no question that all four regimes starting from Pres. Ter-Petrosyan (1991-1998), to Pres. Robert Kocharyan (1998-2008), to Pres. Serzh Sargsyan (2008-2018) to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan (2018-present) should all be investigated.
World Armenians should allow the National Truth Commission to fully carry out its mission so that well-qualified, constructive and patriotic forces come to power and steer away from repeating the mistakes of the past.
All patriotic forces must get better organized in Armenia and Diaspora 1) to serve as bulwark against old kleptocracy’s return to power; 2) to empower Armenian nation to move from survival to performance level both as a state and a nation in dispersion.
Armenian nation should have a choice between good and better and not between bad and worse.
Justice is for all regardless of what kind of position you have.
