NSS dismissed reports on tension at the border as fake news

The National Security Service has dismissed reports on social media and the press on tension, shooting and deployment of troops of the enemy. In particular, information was circulated that “there is accumulatio of Turkish-Azerbaijani heavy equipment in the area of Ijevan and Shamshadin, the 3rd army corpus of Tavush has been placed on alert” and so on.
The NSS also dismissed the reports on the Azerbaijani border troops approaching Armenians living in the villages of Shurnukh and Davit Bek, noting that the video with Azerbaijani-speaking persons videoing from the car which was actively shared on the internet, saying that it was made a month ago during the three-party working meeting of the border guards by the Azerbaijani servicemen driving along the route agreed beforehand, accompanied by the Russian border guards.
The NSS noted that the situation is under the control of the Armenian border guard service and called on people to not trust fake news and refrain from sharing these.
