The shooter scored a pass to the Olympic Games with the final count of points scored at the European championship, in the 10-meter pistol competition.
Karapetyan is Armenia’s 11th athlete to score a pass to Tokyo 2020. Before this, Armenia had 10 passes.
Due to the pandemic, Tokyo 2020 was postponed for a year and will be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
