Hello Reader,
96% of CEOs think they’re doing enough for employee mental health, but only 69% of employees feel the same. As the COVID landscape continues to change, statistics like these are becoming more prevalent across various benefits. In fact, today, less than half of employees feel the current resources that their employer provides to support their health and well-being meet their needs–indicating a disconnect that negatively impacts retention, productivity, and engagement. It’s evident that employee needs have changed, and businesses should be as responsive to them as they have been to the needs of the organization.

Between overall declining mental and physical health, issues with access to care, and other COVID-related challenges, employees are struggling—and their risk of developing serious chronic disease continues to skyrocket. Right now, it’s critical for employers to provide employees with the right interventions at the right time to curb rising future claims costs, increase employee retention, and keep their organizations resilient.
Something that very few of my clients have heard is that there is an Employee Preventative Healthcare Credit that addresses many of the concerns of employees while also paying the business owner to offer it to their employees. This credit also gives each employee a $1500 dollar incentive without lowering their take home pay.
Would you like to get paid to give your employees a valued benefit and get paid to do it? The government does come up with good programs once in a while but they sure don’t share the good news very well. My goal is to always search out the best programs, ideas and services that will help my friends do better with their companies.
