At the esteemed Four Seasons Georgetown, Terry Bitar, a Lebanese-Armenian founder of Bitarchitects, LLC and Charity Donation Foundation, Inc. and Martin Bruehs, an American patent lawyer, partner atSheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton, LLP, wove a mesmerizing tapestry of cultural fusion during their engagement celebration.
Set amidst the picturesque Four Seasons patio, guests were serenaded by the melodic tunes of violinist Amir Gonzales. Sipping on carefully selected beverages, the evening embraced sophistication with Lebanese wines from Chateau Moussar in the Bekaa Valley, adding cultural richness to the ambiance. Delicious hors d’oeuvres elevated the culinary experience, setting the stage for a night of opulence and cultural celebration.
As the sun set, guests entered an elegantly adorned dinner room, illuminated to showcase meticulously arranged floral arrangements. The ambiance blended modernity with tradition, echoing timeless elegance. A captivating multicultural band led by Sarney Bejjani performed in English, French, Arabic, and Armenian, resonating with a harmonious blend of diverse musical notes that reflected the couple’s heritage.
Guiding the evening with charm, the charismatic Master of Ceremony, Charles Sills, shared heartfelt sentiments about the couple’s profound love, setting an emotional tone for the night. A surprise performance by filmmaker and Shakespeare scholar Robin Philips added an unexpected yet enchanting touch to the celebration.
The joyous atmosphere continued with touching toasts from esteemed guests, including Publisher Appo Jabarian, philanthropist Annie Simonian Totah , and D.C. personality Alberto Ucles, Walter Bruehs, the groom’s brother, and Marc Albero, a close college friend, contributed heartfelt messages, enriching the emotional tapestry of the evening.
