
In 2023, more than forty participants from 7 countries, United States, Canada, France, Ukraine, Georgia, Spain and Armenia gathered under the banner AANSI: THE ARMENIAN AMERICAN INSTITUTE NATIONAL SECURITY.
This year’s training will take place in the picturesque Aragats, Armenia from August 19 through 22, 2024. (A cultural program and tours will also be presented.)
The objective of this mission is to build with the Armenian Diaspora a culture of physical deployment in Armenia in times of national emergency: natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, massive fires or man-made disasters such as the war.
The driving force behind this noble idea is to create a doctrine throughout the Diaspora and Homeland, being ready for physical deployment from all corners of the Diaspora “within 96 hours of notification by the Armenian authorities when a disaster is declared.

AANSI HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT BRIGADE IN ARMENIA training program includes:
– Training in response to man-made or natural disasters
– Training in response to Azerbaijani military aggression against civilians in Armenia
– First aid training — CPR and AED
– Training in Cyber/Information Security
– Training in communication/network operations in the event of a national emergency.
AANSI is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
AANSI is not funded by the US government, the government of the Republic of Armenia, or any other government. It is funded by donations provided by generous donors within the American Armenian, French, and traditional American/French/European communities with affinities to Armenia, Artsakh, and Armenian heritage.
