21-year-old Armenian boxer Erik Israelyan (3-0, 2 KOs) continues his winning streak in professional boxing. On the night of October 30 to 31 in Montreal, he defeated 25-year-old Canadian Dylan Schroeder (6-1, 4 KOs), winning by majority decision — 40-36, 39-37, and 37-39, Sportaran reports. The bout against the previously undefeated opponent turned out to be tense and evenly matched, but Israelyan managed to impose his style and secure victory after four rounds. This marks Erik’s third consecutive win in the professional ring, with all three fights taking place in Montreal in 2025. Previously, Israelyan successfully represented Armenia in amateur tournaments, and now he is confidently paving his way in professional boxing. The Armenian athlete’s next fight is scheduled for November 13. His opponent will be Chilean Mario Esparza. The tournament will once again be held in Montreal, and the match has already been confirmed.
