The Apicius Armenia hospitality school in Dilijan celebrated “Italian Cuisine Week in the World” with a special event promoting Armenian-Italian culinary cooperation, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Yerevan and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), welcoming professors and students from the prestigious Aurelio Saffi Institute of Florence through a joint initiative with the embassy and ITA, and featuring a unique Tuscan-style dinner jointly prepared by students of both institutions that blended Italian culinary finesse with Armenian hospitality to offer a creative taste experience highlighting the educational and cultural value of the partnership, attended by Alessandro Ferranti, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Armenia, along with officials, community representatives, and partners who expressed appreciation for the expanding cooperation in culinary education and cultural exchange, while Katya Bredikhina, Head of Apicius Armenia, emphasized that the event demonstrated how gastronomy fosters dialogue of cultures and values and showcased Apicius Armenia as a platform for strengthening international partnerships and nurturing young talent, all held in a warm, professional, and inspiring atmosphere that further underscored Dilijan’s emerging role as a regional hub for culinary education and international collaboration.
