Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with French Am- bassador to Armenia Olivier Decottig- nies on June 29. According to the Ministry of Econ- omy, Deputy Minister Anushik Avety- an also attended the meeting. The sides discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooper- ation between Armenia and France, as well as increasing exports of Armenian products. M i n i s t e r Papoyan said that diversi- fying exports is one of the A r m e n i a n government’s p r i o r i t i e s , stressing that expanding the presence of high-quality Armenian products in European Union markets, including France, is of particular im- portance in that context. The discussions also covered strengthening business ties between Armenian producers and French com- panies, organizing business-to-busi- ness (B2B) meetings, and promoting Armenian products in the French mar- ket.
