Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pash- inyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during his work- ing visit to Tehran. Prime Minister Pashinyan once again expressed his condolences over the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, stressing that Armenia shares the grief of the Iranian people. President Pezeshkian thanked the Armenian Prime Minister for travel- ing to Tehran to attend the official farewell cer- emony for the late Supreme Leader. He said the Islamic Re- public of Iran highly appreci- ates the posi- tion adopted by the Armenian government and the humanitar- ian assistance it extended to Iran during a diffi- cult period. P r e s i d e n t Pezeshkian also congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia’s parliamentary elections, expressing confidence that bilateral re- lations would continue to develop and deepen. The two leaders also exchanged views on issues of regional impor- tance, emphasizing the need for con- tinued efforts to strengthen peace, sta- bility, and regional cooperation.
