The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) and sportswear company Macron have unveiled the new home and away jerseys of the Armenian national football team. The designs draw inspiration from distinctive elements of Armenian man- uscript ornamentation, bringing centuries-old artistic traditions into the team’s modern identity. The home jersey features bird-inspired decorative patterns, while the away jersey takes inspiration from ornamental borders found in Armenian manuscripts. According to the FFA, these historic motifs have become part of the national team’s new visual identity, connecting Armenia’s rich cultural heritage with its football tradition. The official sale of the new jerseys will begin at a later date. The Football Federation of Armenia will announce the launch date soon. The promotional video for the new jerseys was filmed at the Matenadaran Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, named after Mesrop Mashtots. The FFA expressed its gratitude to the Matenadaran for supporting the film- ing of the presentation video.
