On December 22, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) published an updated version of the men’s national teams ranking. According to the latest update, the Armenia national team retained its position and finished the year in 106th place with 1,196.08 ranking points. As in the previous edition of the ranking, no major changes occurred at the top of the table. The world top ten remained completely unchanged. Spain continues to lead the ranking, followed by Argentina and France. The top 10 also includes England, Brazil, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia. The lack of changes is explained by the fact that most national teams did not play official matches in December. Minor ranking movements were recorded only among several teams from Africa and Asia, which continued to compete in regional tournaments, friendly matches, and the FIFA Arab Cup.
