YEREVAN /ARKA/. As part of the agreements reached by the special rep- resentatives for the Armenian-Turkish normalization process, Armenia and Turkey have decided to simplify the visa issuance procedure for holders of diplomatic, special, and service pass- ports, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported. Starting January 1, 2026, holders of diplomatic, service, and special pass- ports of both countries will be able to obtain electronic visas (e-visas) free of charge. “In this regard, Armenia and Turkey once again confirm their commitment to continuing the normalization process between the two countries with the goal of achieving full normalization without any preconditions,” the ministry said.
