STRASBOURG — Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Dep- uty Secretary of State Thomas DiNanno announced the completion of negotia- tions on an agreement concerning cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear en- ergy during a meeting held in Paris. During the meeting, the officials discussed ways to deepen the strategic part- nership between Armenia and the United States across various areas. Mirzoyan and DiNanno expressed satisfaction with the completion of nego- tiations on the agreement between the governments of Armenia and the United States on cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy. They also empha- sized their readiness to sign the agreement through the appropriate format and to further expand cooperation in the sector. The discussions also addressed regional infrastructure projects. The two sides additionally exchanged views on other issues of mutual inter- est.
