The third phase of the startup support pro- gram by global inno- vation platform Plug and Play has officially launched in Yerevan, with the backing of Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry. The launch event brought together Min- ister of High-Tech In- dustry Mkhitar Hayra- petyan, National Assembly Vice Speaker Hakob Arshakyan, Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan, as well as representatives of the technology sector, international mentors, and key players in the startup ecosystem. Welcoming participants, Minister Hayrapetyan congratulated the organizers on the program’s launch and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in ad- vancing Armenia’s technology ecosystem. He highlighted their role in fostering inno- vation, strengthening global ties, and en- hancing the competitiveness of Armenian startups. As part of the program, 18 selected startups will take part in a three-month pre- acceleration phase aimed at refining their ideas and preparing them for entry into in- ternational markets. Participants will have the opportunity to work closely with ex- perienced international mentors, gain practical knowledge, build networks, and join Plug and Play’s global innovation platform. The startups selected for the current batch include Bleenk, FIGURINGS, Empy. ai, Tedly, abda AI, Inc., SafeGround Tech- nologies, Salute AI, LexAI, Uray Tech- nologies, Ethery Tech, JAN DIGITRUST, RUXEN, Megaladata, AgenticFi, Bee- Sync, Dhomie, Muvia Inc., and BeautyFlo tween Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry and Plug and Play in 2024, two successful phases of the program have al- ready been completed, supporting around 40 startups.
