YEREVAN — Armenian Prime Min- ister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he prefers to demonstrate, rather than describe, what French President Em- manuel Macron has done for Armenia. Speaking to reporters following a government session, Pashinyan re- sponded to a question asking what Ma- cron had done for Armenia by saying: “On May 28, we will see what has been done. Why should I explain it? We will show it.” It should be recalled that on March 26, Pashinyan announced that a mili- tary parade would take place in Repub- lic Square on May 28, describing it as more of an accountability report to the citizens of Armenia. The Prime Minister also referred to remarks made by the President of Belarus during his visit to Azerbaijan, where he claimed to have participated in preparations for the 44-day war. Pashinyan criticized the leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” party for not expressing a position on the matter. “The President of Belarus stated that Armenians, aside from the EAEU, are not needed by anyone. The leader of Prosperous Armenia should com- ment on that as well,” Pashinyan said. Regarding a possible visit by the President of Ukraine to Armenia, Pash- inyan emphasized that Armenia is not Russia’s ally on the issue of Ukraine.
