According to the Ministry of Econ- omy of Armenia, the exports are be- ing carried out within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding signed on August 27 with the Dubai- based company Watermelon Ecosys- tem. During his visit to Dubai, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan toured the company’s premises together with its founders, getting acquainted with its activities, infrastructure, and pro- duction facilities. Watermelon Ecosystem is a tech- nology platform for the food and bev- erage industry that brings together restaurants, hotels, food suppliers, pro- ducers, and farmers. It offers solutions for digital procurement, supply chain management, and financing. The company also actively coop- erates with local manufacturers and suppliers, helping to expand market access for their products in the food service sector. During the meeting, investment op- portunities in Armenia were discussed. The parties agreed to cooperate more closely both in the implementation of investment programs and in increasing the export volume of Armenian prod- ucts.
