- In the middle of this pandamic , I think the most important thing we can do is : Helping Housing tenants and commercial tenants Facing Evictions and protecting the most vulnerable people, protecting tenants. How? By following many programs like: STAY HOUSE IN LA COUNTY PROGRAM + RENT STABILIZATION PROGRAM.
- These programs limit rent increasing, its protection covers residence tenant, represent tenants at courts ( 90 % of tenants go to eviction court without representation).
- You just have to call the office 8332237368 and speak with its counselors and get the help needed.
- The second important thing we should support amid this pandamic is: Home owners facing financial hardships: Giving relief to property owners who are also impacted as renters by this pandamic.
- The County disaster Help Center ( 833 238 4450) can give such relief to property owners by reducing mortgages I’d they are eligibe to such help, by providing them guidance, connect them to their resources , and by helping them navigating the process.
- This Center which includes team of counselors is working with 14 local non profit certified organizations.
- So it is recommended that property owners, before making major decisions on their properties, to call this CDHC for not only to connect them to foreclosure services but also to help them identify other country services that maybe they are eligible for.
- We should protect HOMELESSNESS: the County makes efforts to prevent Homelessness.
- HOME OWNERSHIP IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ( Housing programs) : This program provides low interest loans to homeowners, provides rehabilitation and makes major repairs to their homes.
