Recently, various members of the current “My Step” government took several political missteps by making absurd declarations.
According to these misguided officials,

  • Turkey shouldn’t be ‘perceived’ as enemy of Armenia, when in fact Ankara is consistently aiming to commit a “second genocide” against Armenians;
  • International recognition of the Armenian Genocide “is not important;”
  • Armenia should open the southern Armenia’s Meghri corridor and give Azerbaijan and Turkey access and normalize relations with Turkey without securing Justice for the Armenian Cause.
    The damaging policies of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s “My Step” government, which have been passed down by the regimes of three former presidents Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharyan, and Serzh Sargsyan, clearly aim to

a – Endanger the territorial integrity of Armenia and the Armenian state sovereignty;

b- Derail the international recognition of the 1915-1923 Armenian Genocide perpetrated by Turkey;

c- Open the Meghri corridor to facilitate a link between Turkey and Azerbaijan that actively pursue Pan-Turkist expansionism;

d- Desecrate the historical Armenian identity of Shushi, Artsakh;

e- Without any merit justify the occupation of seven regions of Artsakh by Azerbaijan under the cover of the 44-day war, international conspiracy and internal betrayal staged in the fall of 2020;

f- To stifle world Armenians’ demand for justice in connection with the mass dispossession caused by the 1915-1923 Armenian Genocide and the illegal confiscation by Turkey Armenian ancestral lands in Western Armenia.

On the one hand, it is necessary to vigorously criticize, condemn, counter, suspend and correct this damaging policy by the current Pashinyan regime. On the other, the former kleptocratic regimes shouldn’t be allowed to exploit this issue to orchestrate their return to power.
Those who criticize the current authorities in order to pave the way for the return to power of the former oligarchic regimes are wittingly or unwittingly serving an anti-Armenian agenda.
Tomorrow’s Armenia has no place for neither the old nor the new Sorosites. Armenia’s present and future must be controlled by patriotic Armenians and the supporters of sovereign Armenia.
