European Team Chess Championship: Armenian national chess teams start with victories

The Armenian men’s chess team started with a victory at the European Team Chess Championship held in Budva, Montenegro. In the first round, the Armenian team defeated the Montenegrin national team with a score of 2,5:1,5.
Gabriel Sargsyan won. Hayk Martirosyan, Shant Sargsyan, and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan ended their games in a draw.
The Armenian women’s team defeated the Czech team. Lilit Mkrtchyan played a draw. Mariam Mkrtchyan and Maria Gevorgyan won – 2,5:0,5.
