They got educated on the present forward lines of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces and the continued threat to Armenia and its southern region. There is no real cease fire. There are continued periodic armed confrontations initiated by Azerbaijani forces to probe Armenian defenses.

In Aug. 2023, American Armenian National Security Institute (AANSI) successfully concluded its inaugural AANSI Humanitarian Support Brigade (HSB) training in Aragats, Armenia. The training took place from August 5 through 12 in a challenging training area 24 miles northeast of Yerevan.

Nearly fifty men and women from eight countries, United States, Canada, France, Ukraine, Georgia, Spain, Russia and Armenia, gathered under the banner of AANSI to participate in the groundbreaking training.

The objective of the mission was and continues to be, fostering within the Armenian Diaspora a commitment to personally deploy to Armenia in times of national emergencies, whether natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, massive fires, or man-made disasters such as the renewed armed conflict with Armenia’s enemies, “within 96 hours of notification by the Armenian authorities when a disaster is declared.”

The AANSI HSB training program also featured many cultural activities.

AANSI HSB invites you to be a part of the second training and cultural activities and become an integral part of safeguarding greater Armenia’s sovereignty and emerging democratic institutions.

Because not one penny of US government or Republic of Armenia funds is used to support this first-of-a-kind US-ARMENIA joint security cooperation action, we need your help. AANSI does not work for either the US or the Armenian government. It is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt educational organization.

All funding for these past and most recent educational and journalistic missions and for the upcoming commitment of US retired military personnel to Armenia comes from individuals like you — U.S. citizens supporting AANSI’s mission in fostering a stronger military, economic and political alliance between the United States and the Republic of Armenia.

Save the date for the third annual AANSI banquet and the World Premiere of the newest AANSI documentary film presentation which will be held on Thursday 30 May, 2024 at the Taglyan Banquet Complex, located in Hollywood, California.
