“Ottoman-Soviet Russia’s cronies in Armenia have sold out Artsakh and now they want to sell out Armenia… PUTIN’S STOOGES – Former Pres. Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Catholicos Karekin II-LEAVE ARMENIA ALONE!”

A televised conversation took place between Appo Jabarian and Vosgan Mekhitarian, an investigative journalist. The conversation took place on April 26 as events were underway in Armenia and around the world for the 109th anniversary commemoration of the 1915-1923 Turkish-executed Armenian Genocide. APPO JABARIAN: This Saturday, on the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, instead of honoring the memory of our 1.5 million martyrs everywhere, some internal treacherous groups in Armenia, with the complicity of external enemies, are prone to do everything to create permanent instability inside Armenia. 

VOSGAN MEKHITARIAN: All of us, concerned members of the community, are in a storm internally. After all, it was the 109th anniversary of the genocide. … All those people who do not have memory, historical memory, can not create history. In other words, they cannot have a future. Therefore, all those mental troubles that we experienced on the eve of April 24 and the following days should always remind us that the memories will keep us alive for the future. 

Now let’s move from April 24 to all those stormy hours, moments that are taking place today in the Homeland. It is very clear for all of us that we can become a scapegoat at the crossroads of superpowers. Today, if we do not realize that, we will definitely become victims. Who can become the real mediator between the government and the people in all of this, if not the Armenian Apostolic Church? 

On the eve of the Genocide commemoration, astonishingly, Armenia is now experiencing political upheaval, under the direction of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin as several bishops are gathering in the square to once again distort the reality and the facts and poison the atmosphere, forgetting that the enemy is at the door. We are surrounded by enemies from all sides. 

These days, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the primate of Tavush made such misguided appeals alongside other churchmen, which only bring shame to the Mother See and not pride. Let me repeat once more, do not confuse the Holiness of the Mother See with those (fake) churchmen who abuse the church. All those who prepare provocations against the government elected by the people are betraying the motherland. 

A churchman has no right to incite his people against his government; the people themselves chose this government with their free will. Tomorrow, the next day, others will come to power, but we must learn from our history, in which the Armenian Apostolic Church played a major role. And today it is doing exactly the opposite. Instead of pacifying the people, it is inciting hatred against the democratically elected government. 

If we don’t maintain stability, we will become the scapegoat of major powers. We must pull our act together and proceed wisely. Let’s wake up, we can’t continue like this. What are we fighting against? We will be guilty in front of future generations, if we do not find ourselves in the real peace, which is being pursued today. What peace if the country is in a storm? There can be peace when we are at peace internally, within our persons, which is manifested in our national life. Our church class should do the same. 

[Addressing his remarks to Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan and Karekin II,] Do not forget that you have vowed to serve the people in front of the tabernacle, to preach love and unity. Today you are doing exactly the opposite. The time has come for us to unite and take control of our church. The time has come. We can no longer remain indifferent. The testament of our martyrs is that we remain demanding until the end, vow to serve the motherland, vow to serve our church, and force the high-ranking leadership to repent for their sins against the Armenian people today, to leave the church and concede their places to all the worthy ones who are concerned about the Armenian people and the future. 

APPO JABARIAN: Apparently, the old thugs, the old regime kleptomaniacs – former presidents who are still Bolsheviks at heart – Robert Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan and the ARF-Armenia leaders with unpatriotic HHSH-ANM roots in Armenia are now turned into political corpses. They are now widely recognized as being an integral part of the Karabakh clan, the Karabakh mafia. Since these people have turned into political corpses, apparently their ‘uncle’ in the Kremlin, Russia’s Putin, found it more expedient to use a well-known KGB agent, Ktrij Nersesian, also known as Catholicos Karekin II. 

Apparently, in the Kremlin, they have calculated that now in Armenia and also in the Diaspora, the faces of the old dictator-regimes have been discredited, and their words are not worth a single penny. 

That’s why now the Soviet-Ottoman corrupt Kremlin, with the participation of the internal fifth column dirty work ‘commissioned’ the so-called corrupted clergy, starting with Archbishop Galstanyan, the head of the Diocese of Tavush, to do their dirty works. The trend continues and reaches all the way here in the Western United States. 

A few days ago, many members of our community witnessed another infamous phenomenon, which was almost identical to what happened on April 24 and 23 near the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Monument in Armenia.

The Prime Minister’s wife, Anna Hakobyan, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial with her daughter to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. There, a group of people [a group of old regimes, ARF-Armenia and Catholicos Karekin II’s cronies] started making insulting statements. The chief of staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Taron Chakhoyan, referred to the incident, noting that those who targeted the Prime Minister’s wife and young daughter are devoid from all kinds of sanctities, they do not respect the April 24th day’s solemn message, nor Tsitsernakaberd. And targeting a young child is the ultimate act of scumbags. 

APPO JABARIAN: As you know, this is already an extreme shame, a national shame, that the First Lady of the government of the day, the prime minister of the day and her child were targeted on April 24, during the ceremonies of the 109th anniversary commemoration of the Armenian Genocide. Why, because some people have turned into fools and are doing everything to get back to power in order to achieve their goals. And this is already an extreme shame. 

The same kind of disgrace happened here in Los Angeles, when Garo Paylan, that brave Armenian who raised the Armenian Genocide in the Turkish Parliament, spoke about the Genocide bravely and continues to speak out, making the voice of Justice heard all over what is now called Turkey. Imagine, simply because Mr. Garo Paylan refuses to join the dark forces of the old kleptomaniacs, the old regime cronies in Los Angeles at the Western Diocese labeled him as a person who worships Nikol Pashinyan. 

Why are they expecting that we, as independent thinkers, should be on the side of the old regime kleptomaniacs so that we don’t get labeled ‘Pashinyanites’? Couldn’t it happen that someone remain an independent thinker? Couldn’t it happen that a person rejects the current authorities, but rejects the old dictators tenfold? 

Any mature Armenian, any patriotic Armenian would not want the current authorities to make any land concessions to Azerbaijan, even if those 4 villages in the Tavush region, are featured as ‘Azerbaijani’ in maps published during the Soviet years or were featured as part of Azerbaijan. Certainly, the best-case scenario for many, including me, would be that the Pashinyan government would use this as a playing card and expel the occupying forces of Azerbaijan, for example, from the Jermuk and other regions of Armenia proper. 

Now, people like me, people like a fellow commentator Mr. Gurken Simonyan, we have a moral right to criticize, to demand that the government does not make such concessions. But look at who the critics are: Arch. Galstanyan, the primate of Tavush Diocese, who is a fellow clansman to the corrupted Catholicos Karekin II, and who in turn is an asset of the Karabagh clan. As fellow saboteurs of the Armenian war efforts during the 2020’s 44- day anti-Armenian aggression by Azerbaijan, Turkey and ISIS, these elements reportedly perpetrated treacherous activities, backstabbing the Armenian people. 

The same gang that orchestrated the fall of Shushi and the surrender of the entire Artsakh in favor of Azerbaijan and Russia, has no qualms about undermining the internal stability and for Armenia to become a peripheral region – ‘a gubernia’ just like it was under occupation by the former Soviet Union or Tsarist Russia. As we have talked about it in the past, people of this gang prefer to become namestniks (наместник), i.e. rulers, kinglets instead of living a dignified life under the umbrella of Armenian Sovereignty. 

These people fight in every possible way for Armenia to lose its sovereignty. And imagine that these people are now out there, preaching patriotism. 

If they were really patriots why did they backstab the entire Armenian people with the complicity of their corrupt Russia-sponsored Soviet-Ottoman Armenian generals during the 44-Day War? 

If they were really a patriot, why did they sabotage the economy of Armenia during the past 3 decades? How did they allow themselves to rob both the Homeland and Diaspora Armenian businessmen and destroy the economy of Armenia, during the administrations of the first president, the second and third presidents? 

How did it happen that today they have the moral right to oppose any kind of concession, when they have collectively weakened Armenia? And now, Armenia is going through the most vulnerable period of its 33 years of existence! 

When it was necessary for them not to rob the state defense fund, how did they allow themselves to build their own castles with the money they looted? How does it happen that the same robbers also robbed the whole of Artsakh? They have disenfranchised the entire Armenian people of Artsakh. They are complicit in the genocidal campaign by Azerbaijan Pres. Aliyev and Turkiye’s Erdogan. And now they have the moral right to talk about patriotism? 

Now they are claiming that they want to save Armenia? They have come forward to save themselves. They want to keep what they looted. It doesn’t matter if the country is lost and its sovereignty is destroyed. 

SUREN SARGSIAN – What Nikol Pashinyan is doing now, with the Tavush border post flag of peace in his hand, he is doing it right…. The ARF-Armenia Dashnaks the Kocharyans talk about the homeland’s ‘salvation’, while they have sold out the homeland. 

The ARF-Armenia Dashnaks sold … with Robert Kocharyan, when they thought that it was worth handing over a part of Artsakh to keep their loot, thinking “no problem, we can take them back later.” 

… Azerbaijan is saying, “We cannot wait so long until France arms [Armenia].” What are you going to do, you pitiful colt, you creature with the mustache of a cockroach? Armenia is bracing itself and will be bracing itself and suddenly you try your luck, you’ll get what you get…. 

VOSGAN MEKHITARIAN: For that group, which is completely devoid of morals, if it had a shred of morality among its members, even if Catholicos Karekin II has forced them to hold such hate-speeches against the Homeland government, they should not have gone out. Here, it is clear that they and their boss Karekin the Catholicos, are Kremlin cronies. 

Last year Catholicos Karekin was awarded a medal by Putin. An order was given to him. … This means that Catholicos Karekin with his group and all those hate groups serve Moscow, the Kremlin. 

It is not possible to prosper when the [Russian] bear’s paw is pushing us down. … Therefore, the time has come. 

Today, you see, the president of Azerbaijan is already in Moscow. There are romantic ties between the Kremlin and Baku. … In view of all these, don’t take it to the street. Catholicos Karekin II, do not send your cronies to the streets to incite the people against the Armenian government, when the government has serious issues to solve. Preach love and brotherhood. That’s enough. If your religious vows do not compel you to be on a spiritual mission, then leave the Mother See. Leave the Holy of Holies, leave Holy Etchmiadzin. 

It is enough to embarrass this people. You have embarrassed our people in front of foreign states. We must wake up now, dear ones, because our new generation expects a lot from us. … Don’t create an occasion for you to antagonize our brothers and sisters within the homeland with your baseless and misguiding statements against the government, or against the Diaspora. 

APPO JABARIAN: In May 1918, when the Sardarapat victory had not yet been achieved and the invading Turkish forces had already stormed into the Alexandropol-Gyumri region, the Blessed Patriarch of All Armenians, Catholicos Kevork V, made a very important announcement, calling on the people to stand together and fight the last war against the Turks. 

His Holiness Catholicos Kevork V, blessed be His memory, said that at the time when Alexandropol-Gyumri was already overrun by Turks, the Armenian generals offered him to leave the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, and Catholicos Kevork V said “If necessary, I will take the sword and be ready in the courtyard of the church. I will resist, even if I die.” 

Look at His Holiness Kevork V’s image and compare it with today’s Unholiness and most corrupted Catholicos Karekin II. Kevork V of All Armenians joined forces with the Armenian nation, against the anti-Armenian nemesis, against the external enemy, while Karekin II, the corrupted Catholicos, joins forces with the enemy, against his own people. 

Look at the photo on the screen of Karekin II, a corrupted Catholicos, doing lovey-dovey with the leader of the Armenian-hating, bloodthirsty Turkish Gray Wolf terrorist organization. And you decide what is your position towards today’s discredited evil Karekin II, and in general towards the entire parasitic, fake clergy who are Karekin’s cronies, carrying out the destructive activities of the fifth column in Armenia. 

The time has come for the Republic of Armenia to develop a new law and start making all citizens responsible. It doesn’t matter if they are clerics or ordinary citizens. Those who undermine the internal stability should be held accountable to the full extent of the law. Because democracy is not anarchy, and is not an excuse for people to freely preach anti-Armenian hatred on native soil and ‘promote’ internal destabilization by carrying out hostile and treasonous activities while remaining untouchable. Enough is enough.
