The list of tasks raised in the article written by this writer on July 17, 2020, more than two months before the 44-day war of 2020, continues to be relevant today. However, that list did not emphasize the participation of the Diaspora in the strengthening of Armenia’s Defence. Because many of us were convinced that the Armenian Army was truly in good hands. We were wrong.

However, the 44 days brought to light the fact that the world Armenians have a vital role in the process of strengthening the Armenian Army. Of course, many other issues also came to light in the aftermath of the 44 Day War. At the moment, the most urgent task is putting the strengthening of the Armenian Army on a fast track.

All the hidden and obvious geopolitical developments that existed prior to Sept. 27, 2020 continue to exist until today.

What should the world Armenians do so that today’s Armenian State is not erased from the world map?

Before Sept. 27, 2020, President Erdogan of Turkey and the dictator of Azerbaijan Aliyev declared with great self-confidence that they would commit the “Second and final genocide against the Armenians.” In Artsakh, thanks to the treasonous activities by the Russian-sponsored 5th column in Armenia the so-called Karabakh mafia and the Russian anti-Armenian complicity, the genocidal trio, the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan and Turkey, were able to achieve their goal on Sept. 19, 2023: Forcible depopulation of Artsakh Armenians from their millenium-old ancestral homeland.

TO PREVENT THE THIRD AND FINAL GENOCIDE AGAINST ARMENIA AND THE ARMENIANS, IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE WORLD ARMENIANS AND THEIR FRIENDS STRENGTHEN ARMENIA‘S DEFENSE AGAINST GENOCIDAL REGIONAL BULLIES – RUSSIA, AZERBAIJAN & TURKIYE!

With the elimination of decades of corrupt Bolshevik-Ottoman culture of abuse of Armenia’s defense budget, the soldiers of the Armenian army are now taken care of. Rapid reforms are welcome. Kudos to all those individuals who support the Armenian Army, recognizing it as the only guarantor of Armenia’s defense and survival.

Many theorists insist that alongside the army, the entire civil society should become combat-ready and Armenia should turn into a Garrison-State so that its bloodthirsty enemies would think very hard before launching another unprovoked aggression.

Over the past 35 years, successive state administrations have ignored the vital importance of the Armenian state, the full integration of the Diaspora in the Armenian republic. This major mistake must be corrected. The vast majority of the Homeland Armenians increasingly underline the vital importance of integration with the Diaspora. ARMENIA’S PERMANENT, TRUE AND LOYAL ALLY IS A POWERFUL DIASPORA.

The good news is that the Armenian diaspora, in turn, has begun to accelerate its repatriation. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Arpine Sargsyan, over the past three years, Armenia has witnessed the number of applications for citizenship of the Republic has increased significantly. “We have an increase in applications for citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, which has tripled over the past three years, exceeding 20 thousand annually. This is a fairly positive indicator,” she explained.

Can the Armenian diaspora double, triple or quadruple the influx of repatriates each year in the coming years? Armenia is in the midst of an ethnographic war. The population of Armenia needs to reach four, five or six million in the near future. And in southern Armenia’s Syunik region, the demographic must be fostered to assist the population growth to at least half a million.

And the list presented in the article published on July 17, 2020 continues to be relevant. That list – THE 10 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS FOR ARMENIA TO DO – was compiled through a series of conversations and consultations with many concerned Diaspora Armenians. To re-acquaint yourself with that list, read the article published on July 17, 2020 below.
